Behind the scenes

What is Global Fairy Tales?

A small, independent project that wants to make gentle, beautiful stories from many cultures easy to watch — without turning childhood into a horror show.

🌍 Story-first, then technology

Everything starts from the fairy tale itself. We look at traditional stories from different countries and ask a few simple questions: is it kind, is it safe, is it worth placing into a child’s head? If yes, we adapt it; if not, we skip it or soften the themes.

The aim is not to be “dark” or “edgy”, but to create a calm, cozy space. Nature, friendship, courage, kindness, family, funny little spirits and creatures — these are welcome. Gore, cruelty and nightmare fuel are not.

The first wave focuses on winter and Christmas-like stories. Later, the library will grow into a year-round collection from many different cultures and regions.

🤖 Where automation actually helps

AI tools are used only as helpers: to draft subtitles, prepare multiple video formats, create consistent artwork and assist with scheduling uploads. They are not in charge of the values of the story.

In the background, “agents” and workflows can one day:

  • group incoming story suggestions by country and theme,
  • prepare draft scripts based on public-domain tales,
  • generate first-pass images and voiceovers,
  • prepare different exports for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others.

Final selection, editing and publishing decisions stay human. Automation saves time so more energy can go into taste and care.
